Job Summary
The successful candidate will conduct research into the synthesis of liquid electret molecules and develop flexible electret devices.

Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field is required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in organic synthesis is essential.
- Experience in the synthesis of π-conjugated molecules is preferred.
- Language Proficiency:
- Strong communication skills in either Japanese or English.
Starting Date
April 1, 2025, or later.
Term of Employment
- Initial Term: 1 year.
- Extension: Possible up to 5 years based on annual evaluations.
Contract Renewal and Maximum Employment Period
Renewal of the contract will depend on:
- Work performance and attitude.
- Progress of ongoing projects.
- Workload at the end of the contract period.
- Budgetary considerations.
Workplace
National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Namiki-Site (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki).
Scope of Workplace Changes
Any changes to the workplace will be limited to the Employer’s sites or other approved locations.
Work Hours
- Standard Hours: 7 hours and 45 minutes per day.
- Flex-Time: Negotiable.
Holidays
- Saturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays.

- Salary and allowances will comply with NIMS regulations.

Trial Period
A probationary period will be observed as per institutional guidelines.
