Cornell University’s School of Operations Research and Information Engineering (ORIE), located at the Ithaca campus, invites applications for multiple open-rank, tenure-track faculty positions. We are seeking outstanding scholars in optimization, machine learning, statistics, and data-driven decision-making. These positions are open to candidates of all levels of seniority, and we particularly encourage individuals with broad research interests, strong leadership potential, and a commitment to teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Qualifications for the Position
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in operations research, mathematics, statistics, or a related field by the start of their appointment. The successful applicant will have:

- Expertise in AI methods, including their application in real-world decision-making problems.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for these positions will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, ranging from $79,400 to $329,000 annually. Cornell offers comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, and retirement plans.
