TWAS-SN Bose Postgraduate Fellowship Programme Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the TWAS-SN Bose Postgraduate Fellowship Programme, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Maximum age of 35 years on 31 December of the application year.
2. National of a developing country (excluding India).
3. Must not hold any visa for temporary or permanent residency in India or any developed country.
4. Hold a Master’s degree in physics, mathematics, or chemistry, with a minimum of 5 years of undergraduate and postgraduate studies in a recognized university or institute.
5. Be accepted by a department of the S.N. Bose National Centre. We recommend visiting the Centre’s website to identify a potential supervisor and research area that aligns with your interests.
6. Provide evidence of proficiency in English if your medium of education was not English.
7. Commit to returning to your home country upon completion of the fellowship.
8. Avoid taking up any other assignments during the fellowship period.
