CSIR Fellow AMS Poral Key Points

1. The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) is automating fellowship payment and grievance redressal through the 'Fellow AMS portal.'

2. The Fellow AMS portal involves processes like registration of Certifying Officers, guide assignment, fellows' registration and attendance lodging, guide registration and attendance approval, and online attendance certification by Certifying Officers.

3. The system aims to streamline payment processes, eliminate manual steps, and provide real-time information on attendance and payment.

4. The new system is being implemented in Host Institutes starting August 1, 2023.

5. Host Institutes need to nominate a Certifying Officer to ensure correct attendance details are filled.

6. Attendance lodging for EMR will occur through the Fellow AMS portal from July 2023 onwards, while older cases and contingency claims will use NewFMS portal.

7. Training sessions for Certifying Officers will be organized to facilitate the onboarding process.
